The SMT Data Engineer program is a practical training program that teaches you to optimally utilize the Splunk data platform. In a single, clear curriculum, you'll learn all the user functionality within Splunk Core and how to manage the Splunk architecture at the administrative level within any organization.

The course content of this program is divided into five modules, with the fourth module consisting of three variants. These variants are divided based on the administrator specializations most relevant to you: On-Premise, Cloud, or a combination of both.

Training options
This course has three versions: On-Premise, Cloud, and Combination, divided based on the content you want to cover in module 4. The version that's best for you depends on the type of Splunk infrastructure you want to use and manage: the data platform on-premises (physical location) or in the cloud. If you want to manage both, the Combination version is ideal. All three versions train you to the Splunk Admin level.
